You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I feel like my life is ‘a work in progress’. I’m certainly not perfect, just ask my wife and kids. But, by God’s grace I am growing in Christlikeness. The goal of my life is to be like Jesus in word, thought and deed. To grow in the grace of God and to know Him is what I am trying to do each day. Peter tells me to be on guard so that I am safe from erroneous ways of living which would negate the steadfast nature of my pursuit. That’s why its so very important to have sound Bible teaching in my life. I praise God for the many pastors, evangelists and apologists that have influenced me over the years.
Who has helped me grow in the grace and knowledge of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Have I supported their ministries?
God, as this day begins- thank you for Your Word and the many ministers who labor in it. Bless them and their ministries- Ravi Zacharias, John MacArthur, Matt Slick, Chuck Booher, Greg Laurie, Tony Allmoslecher, Rick Stedman, Dale Borgen, Josh McDowell, and the many others. May I be a blessing as I teach others from the Bible as well.
Oh, and God, could you help me resolve my satellite TV issue? I know its rather unimportant, but it is a bother getting a 771 error. Lol I love you God.
