Moment Of Dependence

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Today is Sunday! We regularly remember the Lord Jesus as a church by taking communion together. Its a moment of dependence in which we remember what Jesus has done for us and demonstrate how important He is to us. While traveling, its one thing I look forward to at whatever church I visit. Its one thing I miss if its not a practice of that church.

How much do I value the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus? How do I show it?

Lord Jesus, as this day begins, I look forward to worship today. May I be a blessing to the greater body of Christ and may we together glorify You.
