Wow! How incredible it is to be reminded of the God I serve, who loves me this much. I am forgiven, healed, redeemed, crowned with love and compassion and satisfied and renewed. This morning I am remembering some of my friends and acquaintances in prayer. Some on the mission field facing danger and experiencing the adventure of sharing the name of Jesus in places He is unknown. I am remembering a friend who has six months sobriety and is living out the satisfaction found in raising his daughter. And I am asking God to help a friend with his next round of chemo… five of eight. These promises help me know that my prayers will be heard and heeded by the God of the universe and lover of my soul.
What benefits am I enjoying at this season of life?
God, You are worthy of blessing. I bless You for You have certainly blessed me. Remind me moment by moment of Your benefits. I am glad we are friends.
