For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
After those days, says the Lord:
I will put My laws into their minds,
And I will write them on their hearts.
And I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.
And they shall not teach everyone his fellow citizen,
And everyone his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
For all will know Me, Hebrews 8:10-11
Jesus changed everything. He enacted a new covenant ‘based on the Spirit of love’ to replace the previous Mosaic covenant based ‘on the law’. Today, we who put our faith and trust in God will enjoy many benefits- His law is in our minds and hearts. In other words, we understand God’s will and ways and from the heart we seek to follow. He become paramount in our life and we become His children. As this message of the gospel of Jesus Christ spreads throughout the earth, it is not necessary to teach others ‘about’ God, for they will already ‘know’ Him. What a glorious day that will be!
The most important question then is ‘Do I Know Him?’ That was the question Dr. Samuel Lockridge asked in this signature message.
God I thank you again for Your presence in my life. May I know You better today than yesterday. Please prompt me throughout the day how I might serve You and Your kindgdom. I am so glad I know You.
