Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:10-11
Why would God want us to have wealth? So that we can be generous on every occasion. What a great purpose. I often ask people this simple question: Do you do good things with your money? If the answer is yes, I remind them that God may want to give them more money to do more good. In the end, the measure of our life will not be ‘accumulation’, but rather ‘donation’. Letting God’s love flow into our lives and through it is what its all about.

God, what a wonderful reminder that You desire to use generosity as a way to express Christlike love in the world. May many thank You for my generosity.
