Beyond Imagination

Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but just as it is written,

“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the heart of man,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 1:6-9

Following the teachings of Jesus, serving Him, and seeking to know Him has been the greatest adventure in life. I could not have imagined the amazing people, places and privileges I have been afforded, not to mention those to come in the next life. That’s what Paul wrote. One of the great mysteries of God and revelations of His wisdom is the purpose of Jesus life, death and resurrection. Of course, this invitation is available to any tender heart willing to come to God on His terms. Oh, how I wish all I know would live a life beyond imagination.

Whose wisdom am I following with my life? How excited am I each day to discover something new about God, others, myself and the world He has made.

Ah Lord God, You have made the heavens and the earth by thy outstretched hand. Nothing is too difficult for thee. Today, I anticipate what You have planned. I am sure it will be beyond imagination. I am praying for my friends who need comfort and my mom’s health. Please show Your mercy and power in their lives.
