thanksgiving prayerFinally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:12-14

In his closing thoughts the apostle Paul graciously admonishes the believers in Corinth. He gives them the attitude and actions to pursue. He sweetens the affection with greetings. Then He reminds us all that none of the Christian life and experience is even possible apart from the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. This thanksgiving week, I pray the same for my loved ones, family and friends.

Am I rejoicing, being made complete, comforted, like-minded, living in peace?

God, may the grace of the Lord Jesus be evident in my life. May all I know lean in toward You and be filled with gratitude as they consider Your blessings. Would you please help Tim’s mom and restore her to health? Help Chris and Victoria as they recover from the affects of cancer. Comfort Steve and his family in the loss of his father. Bless those who are starting their married lives. Thank you for hearing my prayers. I feel special.
