This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God, and they will be my people.
No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
Because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord.
For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” Jeremiah 31:33-34
What is the new covenant and what does it include? Its knowing God in a personal way. We Christians say “I have a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ”. The new covenant includes forgiveness and the abiding presence of God’s Holy Spirit. With Him, comes the law of God written on our hearts and continually on our minds. He is our God, we are His people. Wow! What a covenant it is.
When did I accept and enter into this covenant? Am I continuing to abide in it?
God, this is such a wonderful prophecy and promise. I thank You that I am living in the new covenant. I thank You and recognize that Jesus made it all possible. Today, I want to worship and reflect and celebrate the life I have in You. May many come join us a Crossroads. May You fill the Bible believing, Christ centered churches in Corona. I pray many will open their hearts to Jesus today and enter into this new covenant.
