I occasionally write cards and letters to friends to encourage them or prayer for them. Isn’t it nice when you receive a letter in the mail? It might be from a grandparent or a girlfriend. There is excitement in reading the thoughts of another person. The apostle Paul said that we are living letters that anyone car read. What is our message? Christ! How wonderful to live life in such a way as to reveal the redemptive work of God in our lives. We make it our goal to be like Jesus in word, thought and deed.
Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some, letters of commendation to you or from you? You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all people, revealing yourselves, that you are a letter of Christ, delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 2 Corinthians 2:1-3 NASB
How easily can people see Christ in me? What spiritual growth is He leading me to today?
God, as this day begins- I pray I might be a pleasing letter that accurately displays the love of God.
