Inclusiveness. Its a buzzword these days. And it can be code for many things. Has there ever been anyone more inclusive than God? In His glorious plan delivered through the descendants of Abraham- He made it possible for anyone to be forgiven and be included in the forever family of God! The wisdom of God is revealed in the saving result of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. This wisdom of God’s redemptive plan reminds us that we don’t need to be smart by the world standards, born into the ‘right family’ or influential at all.
It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:30 NIV
How grateful and I to be included in God’s kingdom, family and plan?
God, as this day begins- And as I drive Keanu back to the airport, I thank You for the wonderful Christmas season of being with all the kids and grandkids. As I consider Your amazing plan of redemption available to all, I pray again for those who consider it foolishness or a stumbling block. Open the eyes of their hearts and draw them into a personal relationship.
