And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.” Revelation 4:8
John sees in his vision the same living creatures that Ezekiel described. They are full of eyes; they see everything and have full knowledge. They exist and work in unison. They consistently have one focus, the holiness of God and His unveiling plan that includes Jesus return.
Are these qualities in me and increasing? Is my understanding of God growing? Am I united in the Spirit with other believers? Is my life an acknowledgment of the holiness of God? Am I anticipating Jesus return?
God, the living creatures fulfill a heavenly example for me. May I become more and more like them in thought and deed.
