And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus came back alive. He then appeared to his followers in Galilee. There, he gave the marching orders that have changed the world. ‘Go, make disciples, baptize, teach to observe my commands.’ I love this commission, because its super clear.
Have I understood that these are my marching orders today? Yes. This is ultimately what I am tasked to do, by my Lord and Savior. Its a privilege to be counted among His disciples.
Lord Jesus, thank you for making a way for me. A way for me to know You, serve Yyou and to spend eternity with You.
