Love the Lord, all his faithful people!
The Lord preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full.
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:23-24
God blesses those who are true to Him. David proclaims God’s goodness and faithfulness in all the times that He delivered him from harm. He concludes with the admonishment to us all ‘love the Lord’ and ‘be strong and take heart’. Good advice and encouragement for anyone going through a difficult or uncertain time.
This is well fit for me, as I have come near the end of a stressful few days.
God, you really do deliver the humble. You give grace and show patience to those who seek Your help. I am loving You for how you helped us get the house in Folsom ready for sale. You send helpers, allowed us to demonstrate patience, diligence and generosity together. Thank you that my boys really shined! Help us cross the finish line now. I want to claim the promise ‘How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all’.
