Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. Revelation 20:11-12
The Bible describes a book of life that records the names of people who belong to God and are saved. Those whose name are found there will spend eternity fulfilling their God-given purpose in His will and presence. Those not found in the book will face a great white throne judgment where books recording their deeds will be opened. Oh to be found in the book of life, where no condemnation awaits!
Is my name written there? Yes it is! Oh thank God it is.
God, I am so grateful that Jesus paid the penalty of my sins upon the cross and You have written my name in the Lamb’s book of life. Help me one who assists others in finding their name there as well. For Jesus sake and in His name.
