What does it mean to be “holy”? Do you picture a monk? Do you think about someone dressed in special clothing? Holiness is to be specially selected by God for His purpose. And its a great experience that awaits every one of us.
“But know that the Lord has set apart the godly man for Himself; The Lord hears when I call to Him.” Psalm 4:3
God sets apart people (makes them special and holy) for His purpose. David sang about it. Who is it? The godly man! And God hears them when they call to Him. What a privilege.
Am I that godly man who the Lord sets apart? Often.
Today O Lord, find me to be a man you can set apart for Yourself.
