Evil people prosper for a time on the earth. But, in the end, they will be judged. God, meanwhile, comes to the aid and comfort of the oppressed. If we are concerned about fairness, suffering, and injustice in this world, we are in good company… God does too.
Do I see what God does? Do I have the same assessment of evil and wicked people in our world? Am I actively joining God in ministering to the afflicted, hearing their cry, and defending the fatherless? Yes, this is my desire.
God, help me see what You see in this world. I want to recognize evil for what it is, and be side by side with You as You respond to those victims who need help. Even today, keep my heart soft to those who are struggling.
