Aaron then shall present the Levites before the LORD as a wave offering from the sons of Israel, that they may qualify to perform the service of the LORD. Numbers 8:11
The Levites were the ones set apart for holy acts of service to God. In preparation for that service, they themselves were cleansed physically and spiritually. The bulls were sacrficed on their behalf as a sin offering. Then Aaron led the congregation in a recognition and Wave offering.
I realize that God qualifies and man recognizes (waves). But how confident do I walk in this truth. Do I waver (no pun intended) waiting for man’s acclaim?
God, this is a balance of life. I know that You have set me apart for something quite special. Build me up in confidence, that I might walk humbly but straight for You.
