Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

When I sing this song, I find a sense of peace of mind as I realize I have a Shepherd who cares for me. The unbeliever may ask “Why”? Why would anyone humble themselves and live their life in obedience to God? The answer is found in the simple words that David wrote as part of this song. “For the Lord is the great God”. He is great in every way. He if full of love and kindness. He is our maker. All of these make it perfectly right to worship and appreciate Him.
Today, my God and my Shepherd, lead me and guide me throughout the day. May I hear Your voice and make decisions according to the wisdom found in the Bible. Would you give me favor with others and I labor in the kingdom of God, building a holy temple to You.
