Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.

All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed; they shall turn back, they will suddenly be ashamed. Psalms 6:8-10
David had times where he felt like his enemies were closing in upon him. And they were. He would awaken in a cold sweat in the middle of the night. Meanwhile, he himself was surrounded by rogue, tough, warriors who were rough around the edges to say the least. At times, he had to separate himself from their way of thinking and natural tendency to act worldly. This is a great act of faith.
Do I trust in God’s ways and provision or my own? Are there godly counselors around me, or do I need to separate from worldly ones? Praise God I have godly counselors.
Lord, I do trust in You. You are my hope an my shield. I know you hear and receive my prayers, especially the ones I pray in the middle of the night. Thank you for Your love and care.
