Cutting corners and cheating others in business deals is not the wise way to live. It displeases God when we do and its a sign of pride. The humble man trusts that what he has, comes from God’s hand. The Bible says that He has given us all we need to live this life in a godly way. Our conscience wants to guide us into the right way, but sin and selfishness can get a hold of any man. In the end, the very end, its righteousness that delivers us from death and into God’s presence. Thank God, He has imputed the righteousness of Jesus to all who put their faith and trust in Him.
Am I cheating anyone in business deals? Do I delight God in the way I interact with others? Is Jesus my righteousness?
Oh yes! Lord, I am so glad You and I walk through this life together and that You care about how we ‘love one another’, especially in our financial dealings. As I begin this vacation, its more than that… I look forward to reading and praying and resting in You.
