“But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.” Luke 15:32
Jesus told three parables about things that were lost and found: a sheep, a coin and a young man. He said that when they were found it was right to rejoice. How much more when one person who is dead or lost has been found by God and repents?
What’s my attitude toward people who are dead to God and lost in their sin? Is it compassion? I hope so, this is the heart of Jesus.
Lord, may I rejoice with your angels in heaven as I see people come to You. Draw many, even today, at our worship services. May there be rejoicing in heaven!
