Judah, the son of Jacob exemplifies Christ by offering to take the place of Benjamin and become a slave to Joseph. This sacrificial act demonstrated God’s working inside of Judah’s heart. It was he after all, that wanted to preserve Joseph’s life when his brothers sought to kill him.
How do I exemplify Jesus Christ in sacrificial living? Am I willing to bear the burdens of others?
God, this is the higher life. I feel its for this reason you have provided so much in my life. Help me let what You have given me, flow through my life to meet the needs of others.
