reaganLike apples of gold in settings of silver is a word spoken in right circumstances.

Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear.

Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest is a faithful messenger to those who send him, for he refreshes the soul of his masters. Proverbs 25:11-13

King Hezekiah re-wrote and contemplated the proverbs of Solomon. Words spoken in right circumstances, a wise reproof, and a faithful messenger are all wonderful, sweet and refreshing to the soul. Great communicators say what needs to be said. They bring the message on behalf of those who need it delivered. They are faithful. How much more should I carry faithfully the words of the gospel!?

Do people want to hear what I have to say? Is there any wisdom in what I say? Are other refreshed when I deliver their message because they trust me as a faithful messenger?

God, it really starts with You. I count it a privilege to deliver the message of the gospel, to teach the Bible and to carry the message of the life and words of Jesus. Help me be a great communicator.
