Grace in the Eyes

But Noah found favor (grace) in the eyes of the LORD. These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God. Noah became the father of three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Genesis 6:8-10

All around him the world was going to hell in a hand basket. But Noah was unique, he found grace and favor in God’s eyes. God is not a respecter of man so that He would show favoritism, so why was Noah different? The Bible simply says he was righteous and blameless. He walked with God. He fulfilled his role as a father to his three sons. These simple qualities will set any man apart for God!

I feel set apart for God too! How am I doing in the areas of being righteous and blameless? Do I live my life with integrity? Am I walking with God in prayer throughout the day? How am I doing as a father to my three sons and lovely daughter?

Lord, as I think about these areas of life would you convict me of any sin, convince me about Your ways, and empower me to become a man set apart who finds grace in Your eyes.
