We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:19-20
The stabilizing force in my life is the salvation that has come from my faith. Abraham believed God (faith), and he saw God perform the miraculous promises that He made. In the same way, I believe God and I am seeing Him keep His amazing promises. I approach and relate to God, not on my own righteousness but on that of my Priest and Savior, Jesus who has gone before me to reconcile me before God.
Just how secure am I in this? 100%! Anchored, unwavering, solid.
God, this is a great mystery that You have revealed… how a sinful man, can be made righteous before You, my holy God!
