But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21
There are moments in life that are what I would call “Ahhh Ha” moments. You my say they are OMG moments. Oh My God, now I see what’s really going on. Joseph had one when the angel described why his fiance was pregnant and he hadn’t been physically intimate with her. In one instant, Joseph grasped what God was doing and adjusted his course of action accordingly.
How about me? Do I get what God is doing right now? Is there any approaches to problems where I am going the wrong direction, even with good intentions?
God, give me the OMG and Ahhh Ha moments today and in coming days, as I try to navigate and lead others through the problems and difficulties ahead.
