And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Matthew 14:29-30
Peter walked on water! He didn’t walk for very long, but he did do it. Miraculous. When he was looking and moving toward Jesus, he was fine, but when he saw only the wind and became fearful, he began to sink. The incident was so surreal, that he believed he would drown. Then he and the other disciples really recognized Jesus as the Son of God.
What am I looking at? Is my focus on Jesus and moving toward Him, or on the problems around me?
God, today I want to see You. Help me do the miraculous, for Your sake and glory.
