May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.
May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.
May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. Psalm 20:1-5
How wonderful it is that we can look beyond ourselves to a God who cares. He sees us in distress and will respond to our prayers. Often He gives us the very desires in our heart and brings our plans to success. The natural response is to shout for joy at the victory and make His name known to others.
God, would this prayer describe and define my life? Yes, it would in many ways.
Today in response to how You show Your great love in my life, I will shout for joy and praise You for the victories in my life.
