From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice,
And He preserves the way of His godly ones.
Then you will discern righteousness and justice and equity and every good course.
For wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; Proverbs 2:6-10
God is the source of wisdom (my definition for wisdom is the godly application of knowledge). The Word of God and the teachings of Jesus are available to every man. The study and application of them produce a storehouse for the person willing to walk in His ways. The repository of wisdom is a shield that will guard our path and preserve us. And over time, discernment becomes a big part of our life in a way that we apply righteousness, justice and equity in all situations thereby charting a “good” course for our lives and others. Oh how pleasant wisdom is to our very soul.
In what ways am I walking in integrity and guarding the paths of justice?
God, as this day begins, I realize I have been fairly busy and in need of listening to Your voice. Would you help me in my decision making? Please provide in all the spheres of my life (even as You are). Thank for my loving and adoring wife (why she feels that way about me is still a mystery). I pray You will allow me some precious moments with my mom this weekend, caring for her. Please give her clarity of thought, bodily strength, and comfort. I bless You God in these days. Please also help me study and perform well on my final exams.
